A 20+ year assessment defining the transportation needs for the Southern Maryland Tri-County region of Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties. The Southern Maryland Transportation Needs Assessment will enable the Tri-County Council to update the Southern Maryland Regional Strategy – An Action Plan for Transportation completed in 1998.

Transit Funding Study Steering Committee

The Transit Funding Steering Committee was formed in 2006 to undertake a study documenting Maryland's transit investment and funding needs over a twenty year time horizon.


MARC Growth & Investment Plan

The MARC Growth and Investment Plan is a multi-phased, multi-year plan to triple the capacity of the MARC system. The expansion will provide greater commuter comfort, expand service hours, and additional capacity.
