Welcome to the Maryland Transportation Plan

I am very excited that the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be revisiting the Maryland Transportation Plan (MTP) over the next year to update the State’s vision for transportation.   As part of this effort, MDOT is pleased to make this MTP website available to provide the citizens of Maryland an opportunity to share their thoughts regarding the future of the transportation system.

Please explore this informative website. You are encouraged to read our draft Goals and Objectives, place yourselves on the mailing list, and provide feedback. Only through a collaborative partnership with all of our “stakeholders” can MDOT develop a transportation vision that meets the needs of its constituents.

This site has been designed to offer you, Maryland’s transportation users, the opportunity to participate in the upcoming revision to the Statewide transportation vision.
